Hey guys Currently at the tail end of my vacation here in Florida. Figured I'd blog a bit before I leave to cook dinner for the family get-together.

THE TRIP

It's been a very good vacation I'd say. I landed Wednesday around 5:45 and me and Lisa got Valentino's pizza and I was reuinited with my black and white cookies from Publix. Thursday was just a sit around at home day and we got McDonalds delivered.

On Friday I saw Kesha in Orlando! I'm probably gonna make a new speed paint and story time about that night. To sum it up I met up with 2 other animals at the concert along with my best friend Sarah. Can see the photos on my Instagram. It was a sweaty time. I had bought us VIP cause.. I fucking missed out on the Meet and Greet packages. They were SUPER limited and yeah.. Bleh. But we were 2nd row and I brought my folder of letters and artwork for Kesha and threw them onto the stage.. HOPING she took them. The security at Orlando was rude as fuck, as expected cause it was Universal Studios. So if she got them, cool. If not, they're in a trash bin somewhere. I can always reprint the artwork and.. paraphrase the letters. BUT I did get a gift from Cassidy (MotherxUniverse) and it was really sweet of her. It was stuff from Kesha's ebay store. She also talked me thru my disappointment of the uncertainty that Kesha got my gift. TRUST ME KESHA SAW THE FOLDER LOL. It wasn't in the way of her dancers and it did get pushed aside so here's hoping the clean up crew for her equipment saw it. AGAIN IF NOT I can reprint the shit. You guys know I at least got to see Kesha in May for her albums listening party. I should've brought the artwork then but the trip there was stressful and I forgot.

Theeeen Saturday we traveled back to Orlando for Pride. I swear there had to be like, 10,000 people.. MAYBE A MILLION!! I'm terrible in crowds (anxiety and the 'tism) but I got some cool stuff and we stayed around for almost the entirety of the 2 hour parade. ALSO heading home after Pride was awful. I hate being in Orlando. It's just too many idiots on the road. Including us. BUT BUT BUT I GOT LIKE.. 45 CONDOMS AND LIKE 5 THINGS OF LUBE LOL. That's typical if you've never been to a pride event! It's promotion for safe sex! Which I fuck with. And I'm gonna be fucking with.. Love it! Anywho I bought this little dress and some pretty rocks. Then with the parade they throw stuff into the crowd.. They had a Lays truck and I got 2 snack size chips of my favorite kind!! Oh and the funniest thing.. a stress squishy thing of breadsticks from Olive Garden??

Sunday was another day with Sarah cause we had Tattoo Appointments! Before we went we hit up Cocoa village as they were having an art festival. Soooo much stuff I would've loved to buy but I spent too much in Orlando as it was. And we grabbed food from Rec 225! I love their chicken parm sammiches! Ahem. Tattoos!!! If you're in the Cocoa area of Florida you should check out THE BLUE OPAL on Merrit Island! I got tattooed by beesting_ink on Instagram and Sarah got theirs done by artbymucker on Instagram. Felt like seeing e-celebs! Karissa did an amazing job on my tattoo. I had drawn these "Kesha song inspired" tattoo designs and one was a crystal under moonlight. I did this design based off her song "Something to Believe In." My Kesha sleeve is coming along nicely. Oh and Sarah's tattoo was the air nation symbol from Avatar. Spicy spot, too! Right on the wrist!

And then today.. Monday. As I said, family dinner. I'm making my comfort dish of calico beans. And air frying some french fries in case my sisters don't like them cause I cannot remember if they did the last time I was here. My aunt also bought a cake for them, too. Tomorrow will be my last official day and I'm hanging with Sarah again to eat my last bit of Valentinos.. Arggghhhh I wish we had them where I live!! Also a Publix! For the black and white cookies!!! The closest pizza I love is gas station pizza. Casey's, to be exact... Mmm..

OTHER CRAP

Anywho the life stuff isn't all that exciting. I don't even remember if I announced it but ehhh..-:

Became assistant manager at my job's deli!

Diagnosed as diabetic... (blame my divorce and depression leading up to this) I'mma do my best to put my diabetes into remission. We'll see though. The cookies aren't helping but I am keeping an eye on my calorie and carb intake. New recipes we've been trying, too!

Got my permit! Finally driving, hopefully getting a car next year and my license before I'm 30!

Hopefully on the way to getting a house in 2 years! First time home owner stuff me and my boyfriend need to look into but we're confident. Theres a house that's been sitting for like 4 months and I HOPE it sticks around. But eh a lot of people have been moving out of the town I live in, too! So there are definitely options. There's one house Jake has his heart set on..

.. and 2 more tattoo appointments. One is scheduled by a coworker for me and Jake.. they'll be taco tattoos done by an apprentice so they're hella cheap. :') Wish us luck. Then November I'm getting King Boo tattooed on my arm.

Uhh commission price changes happened a wee bit ago but I just changed my $6 sketches to $9 Inflation from me?! Not really. They're still VERY cheap and I put a lot of effort in them anyway. Which is why the price increase. I put a little toooo much effort for the $6 price tag.

...I miss Icees. My last Icee was the day after my birthday. It's 2023 they need to make sugar-free versions!!! Sugar Alcohols exist!!! Granted they can fuck your insides up long term BUT HERE FOR A GOOD TIME, RIGHT?!

In other news..

I'mma try to get more streams scheduled for y'all. BE IT ART OR SPLATOON. I need to make a few images for the stream set up and yeeeeeeah. I ordered an extra HDMI cable so I can easily switch between my capture card and the regular display connection.

OH AND UHHH I got the Splatoon 1 and 2 art books!! They're both in Japanese, one is on the way over seas, BUT AAHHH I just.. ugh. I love Splatoon SOOOOOO MUCH. I'm gonna get an Octopus tattooed eventually to go with my squid I think! Expect lots of Splatoon fanart!! The books have gorgeous pages even if I can't read them. I love the style. It's very pleasing.

I'm currently sloooowly working on some buffer between my socials and patreon. Been very busy with work. I caught covid from a friend and now my other friend has covid and I'm still short on hours but at least I got.. 2 extra today. Schedule is weird, but I'm off work earlier on some nights. How long that'll be? Who knows. I'm ready to get into my art again. And my remaining commissions.. which is just 2 but zzz I'm tired.

Argh, we'd been back and forth between the houses all day yesterday. Then I was having blood pressure issues so I've been VERY TIRED. Hope y'all had a MERRY CHRISTMAS or whatever holiday of choice!!!

I'm off work today so it was nice to sleep in til 12:30pm. I'm gonna try and work on art and commissions in a bit.

So yeah. .lot's of family stuff. Breakfast bright and early after a late night of Eve festivities and dinner.. then lunch with the grandparents.. home for a short while THEN BACK TO THE IN-LAWS for more dinner. I almost passed out at his grandparents house though cause my blood pressure was high and I felt like garbage. COVID had my diet fucked up and I have this long lasting cough. Love it.

MAN before Christmas though we had this winter storm. About 3 inches of snow and then extreme winds with the windchill of -28 degrees. Work was slow once it hit. Busy as shit the days before it though. Fortunately not a lot of mean customers, though I do have COVID brain fog so I could just be oblivious and not realize it. So yah along with that I apologize for being slow with art. I'm trying to recover with Patreon buffer and I WANT SO BADLY to focus on my comic. Then figure out commissions in the future. I need to hire a manager. My friend offered. Though I'd pay him in SCRAPS. Think he'd just enjoy the authority of it.

I got so many goodies!! Isaac got me some jewellery, this picture string light thing, and ... a PRINTER/SCANNER. I can finally scan some art works and print any documents we need.

I also got this really nice Splatoon hoodie (from Hot Topic) and I'm going to live in it for a while. (Mom said she wanted to find something to match my Squid tattoo LOL) I got so many nice things this year!! A bit of money, gift cards, BLACK AND WHITE COOKIES MMMMMMMMMMMMM YUMMY, FROM BROOKLYN DELIGHTS, and some Kesha stuff. Like her perfume set and a custom print blanket of when I met her in Tampa, Florida.. Ye ye.. lots of nice things!! I'm happy. And Isaac loved his gifts too. He's difficult to shop for sometimes.

I hope y'alls Halloween was fun. We had about 50~ kids come to the door and get candy. Definitely a quiet one. Isaac and I dressed up and apparently Isaac's face paint made a few kids uncomfortable. One little girl was like "no o no no noo.." before coming up the driveway LMAO. Awwww.

So he's this dead ring master type dude and I'm a "haunting beauty" which is what the site said when I got this costume. One kid thought we were Alice and the Mad Hatter and another girl, wearing a Chucky costume, thought we were cute. Soooooooo YA KNOW.

And then yesterday I got my hair bleached and fully dyed purple so I'm truly living my best life right now!!! Oh oh oh and I had gone the whole month without eating sweets. My carb intake is still garbage but I have bloodwork in December so we'll see whats up with me then if it's an improvement. Still no Icee.. I only had a couple candies on Halloween.. like.. 3 pieces. DOING GOOD.

SPLATOON 3 AND STREAMING

..And Splatoon 2 occasionally. If y'all ever want to play with me just holler! I kinda play every night. I really love ranked matches, I prefer Splatzones in ranked, and EHHH I'm kinda doing good on salmon run but we can always just do regular turf wars! I bought a capture card a week ago and it should be here Friday. I wanna get back into streaming since it's been over a year. FORGIVE ME, my job sucks. We're down to 5 people working a whole department and overtime is.. magical in a paycheck. Exhausting as hell, though. Cause it's food service, y'know? And around the holidays people get really stupid and annoying. I LOVE MY JOB..

So yeah the capture card is currently in Florida!! And then I plan on getting another monitor and getting some kind of setup going. I have this cute little pin board that needs to be hung up as it's just taking space on the desk. Ahhhh, saving up for a house though... A wet dream, really.

I requested today off from work cause it's a fish Friday, one of the busiest days of the week for us. So I FINALLY get that mental break I've been waiting for. I'll return to more chaos tomorrow though since it's a holiday weekend anywho but I'll feel refreshed. Emmm not really doing anything exciting. I woke up to a ton of messages and birthday wishes so I'm definitely feeling the love!!

Isaac made me homemade black and white cookies!! They're so goood he's gonna have to make me more. I only have 2 left OMFG ARGH MY BLOOD SUGAR BUT ARGH I can binge on sweets occasionally. (I have bloodwork in October so I'll need to lay off when the weeks up, but I am on medication to help with my insulin resistance. And my results were a tiny bit better last time when I took the month off from eating sugars.. )

He also got me these flowers!!

THEN COME MONDAY we'll be doing a birthday lunch with the in-laws. And tonight we're having Shrimp étouffée. Otherwise, just a chill birthday. My friend's birthday is 9/11 (UH OH) and we'll all be going out for a birthday dinner. Belated, of course. There's a new pub in town that's really good and I've been begging him to join us! That'll happen after his vacation. :'D Oh and said friend drove over to give me that birthday hug I've been demanding.. PICKLE PALS FOR LIFE.

It got really bad a few days ago.

I've been binge watching Code Lyoko, but if you could recommend me some stuff to watch? I'm gonna try watching Stranger Things. I also have Discovery+ that I only got to watch Conjuring Kesha but if there's things on there too that you'd like to share with meeeeeee.
